Capitol Symphonic Winds, conducted by Dr. Daniel D'Addio, held a special concert
on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at University of Hartford's Lincoln Theater.
This was a collaborative performance with
Windsor High school Concert Band, directed by Mr. Brandon Monroe, and
Bloomfield High School Concert Band, directed by Mr. Damon Coachman.

R. Vaughn Williams' "Concerto for Tuba" featuring Justin Chervony on Tuba and David Winer as Conductor

Fall 2012

The Capitol Symphonic Winds Fall 2012 concert, conducted by Gary Partridge,
took place on Wednesday, December 12 at University of Hartford's Lincoln Theater.

Our program featured the premiere of "The Lady, or the Tiger?" written by
Benjamin Park, who is a member of the ensemble's french horn section.
We also performed "Four Rhodian Scenes" featuring Catherine O'Kelly on guitar.
Catherine is a member of our oboe section.

Spring 2012

The Capitol Winds Spring 2012 performance, conducted by Gary Partridge,
took place on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at University of Hartford's Millard Auditorium.

The concert program featured Walter Mamlok playing the Artie Shaw "Clarinet Concerto".

Other concert selections include the works of Percy Grainger, John Philip Sousa, David Maslanka,
Howard Hanson, and the Premier of Adam Summerer's "Skirmish and Sword Dance".
