Capitol Symphonic Winds, conducted by James Jackson III, Professor of Euphonium, is a symphonic band comprised of music educators and other adult members of the greater Hartford community, along with students from the University of Hartford and other local colleges. This ensemble plays challenging concert band literature and performs two concerts each year. Auditions are held as openings arise.

Our next concert will be May 1, 2024. Our most recent concert was held December 13, 2023 at University of Hartford's Lincoln Theater.
