Capitol Symphonic Winds, conducted by
James Jackson III,
is an ensemble of The Hartt School Community Division.
Our most recent concert was held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 7:30 p.m.
This special performance was part of the
2025 International Women's Brass Conference
which was hosted by The Hartt School.
This symphonic band is comprised of music educators and other
adult members of the greater Hartford community, along with
students from the University of Hartford and other local colleges.
Capitol Symphonic Winds plays challenging concert band literature and
performs two concerts each year. Auditions are held as openings arise.
Our concerts are free and open to the public.
